Why the moon's appearance looks different every night?

In Week 6 of Term 2 our class focussed on how to write great explanations.
We wrote about the Moon’s different phases as we are in the middle of learning about Planet Earth and Beyond. Learning how to write a great explanation will help us with our self-guided topics in a few weeks time. Here is my writing, after I have self-assessed and peer-assessed my work.

INTRODUCTION :

Have you ever wondered why does the moon look different every night? Well to know that the phases of the moon changes every time. If you continue reading along as you go you might will find out more all about why does the moon look different every night?

Body Paragraph : The Moon's’ Orbit :

To wonder about the moon's orbit you may need to have the connection with my writing and will need to keep reading along as you go so you understand more about the moon’s orbit.
The moon’s orbit may be either see more or less of the illuminated side.
Also the Moon is the Earth’s only natural satellite. A natural satellite is a space body that orbits a planet, a planet like object or an asteroid. Predict the Moon’s orbit around the Earth is tilted from our orbit around the Sun - not shadows that cause phases - it’s about the amount of that bright side we can see as the Moon moves through its orbit.

The 2nd Paragraph - Phases of the Moon:

To begin the phases of the moon you may need to know these facts so you understand all about the scientific things around the phases of the moon. Despite The phases of the moon goes from being opposite from a halfway of the moons sides. The phases helps the moon to change in different ways so that the moon doesn't just stay on the moon but it orbits the world.

The 3rd paragraph - Why the time between two new moons is different to the time it takes the Moon to make one complete orbit around Earth?

If you are wondering about why the time between two new moons is different to the time it takes the moon to make one complete orbit around the earth? Well to find the answer you will need to keep reading this paragraph to help you understand more about this question. Theorize the moon orbits the earth while it orbits around the sun. Did you know that the shadow does not make it’s own shadow but it is because of the sun's light reflecting on the earth’s orbit.

Conclusion:

Hypothesize this explanation may be inspired for your own explanation about this topic. If you generalize need more information about this topic please got to: (http://phillips.seti.org/kids/moon.html )  I hope this explanation helps with all the process around the topic why does the moon looks diffrent every night? Just before you leave this explanation i just want to tell you that the Moon was probably made 4.5 billion years ago when a large object hit the Earth and blasted out rocks that came together to orbit round the Earth.

The Whole Process About Mars.

In Week 5 of Term 2 our class focussed on how to write great information reports.
We wrote about the planet Mars as we are in the middle of learning about Planet Earth and Beyond. Learning how to write a great information report will help us with our self-guided topics in a few weeks time.
Here is my writing, after I have self-assessed and peer-assessed my work.

The Whole Process about Mars.
Introduction:

Mars is the 4th planet that orbits around the sun . What do Mars look like? Could it be possible for human beings to live on Mars? Who named Mars? How many days, months and km can Mars orbit the earth? Have ever wondered facts about Mars,  well here is the great report you’ve came too .

Appearance:

Did you know Mars is estimated to be one ninth heavy heavier than the earth? It is also known as a red planet as known as a frozen pole. It is also has a thin atmosphere.  Did you also know that it is easy for Mars to be bright to recognize,  so that it could be a orange colour to be seen. Foreseen, that mars also have sand storms that causes lots of sickness.

Could Human live on Mars?

Have you ever wonded if humans could live on mars? Well it is uninhabitable for humans to live on mars, it is also very hot in afternoon times and very cold at night times. Despite, mars is no magnetic ground so then you can fall by living on mars as long as you have a astronaut suit, astronaut suits can be hard to float in. An important thing, in  hundred years, mars had a thick atmosphere, so then the water flowed on its surface. Mars can also cause skin cancers and that mars is hardly have any oxygen.

Mars Orbit :

Furthermore, Mars takes 687 days to orbit the sun. Moreover, Mars is also approximately 227.9 kilometers away from the sun. Despite Mars takes 227,900,000 Kilometers away from the sun. The Radius of mars is 3,390 kilometres.  Mars spin on its axis for 24 hours.  And Mars is 225,300,000 kilometers.

Even though Mars is our closest neighbour, its orbit is very different. A Martian day (or how long it takes to rotate once on its axis) is longer than an Earth day and equals 24 hours and 37 minutes. This is because it spins slower than our planet. Moreover, a year on Mars is the same as 687 Earth days! Imagine if you lived on Mars, you would be almost half the age you were on Earth!

Conclusion:

Now you have information about mars in my guide you can also find out more information if you visit:
Thankyou for reading my Report about Mars.
