My explanation - How to survive in the first night in Minecraft.

In Week 6 of Term 1 our class focussed on how to write great explanations. We wrote about how to survive your first night in Minecraft (the game a lot of us are obsessed with!).

Here is my writing, after I have self-assessed and peer-assessed my work.

HOW TO SURVIVE YOUR FIRST NIGHT IN MINECRAFT

Have you heard about people talking about Minecraft? If not I am delitly to tell you about it. Minecraft is a popular game in the whole wide world. Nearly everyone plays it, if you're interested playing minecraft here are some steps to how to survive in the first night of minecraft.

Firstly you need to find somewhere you have heaps of resources nearby so you can survive.

When you are done,  find where you can build your house than next you need to find wood and tool to build your house. And your house need to be 3 block your higher because if it’s 2 block higher than when you wake up on the bed your head will be on the ceiling.

Secondly you have to find sand then put the sand in the oven then you can build it as your window because you can’t find any glass in minecraft. Now you got everything you may build your 3 block or higher house.

You will be also needing food because in minecraft you always will be hungry but not thirsty. To find food is to kill animals and if you use your sword it will be hard to kill them because it will take long. So the best thing is to have to kill animals is a diamond sword.

Have a look out for those mobs which are zombies, skeletons, spiders and endermans. Unfortunately make sure you look out for those creepers, you don't want to meet them.

Now you are done and all sorted. Well done to your hard work.

Alaskah's Story - Lost Kids

This is my story about Lost Kids. And I hope you enjoy reading it. 

This story is set in the forest and in the forest there are lots of creatures there and lots of trees and lots of dirt on the floor. This is where my friends and I find ourselves.

Hi my name is Alaskah and I have a black long hair and I love chocolate and I have 3 friends name Hunter that loves healthy food and has long black hair and she loves playing soccer. I also have another friend name Mary that has long black hair and she loves playing tennis and she is good at maths at school and loves sweets. Besides don’t forget I have another friend name Saunoa and he is a boy and he loves playing soccer and he is good at reading at school and he loves eating McDonalds.

My friends and I are sick of our parents telling us what to do all the time, so we ran away. When we ran away at night time they were asleep. We knew this was going to happen and what time we will go was because we plan this at school as I was saying so we went at night time, when they were asleep and we went at 7:00 at night time. But there is a good news and a bad news and the good news that our parents can’t tell us what to do anymore and the bad news is that we ended up in a forest.






Now we don’t know the way to home and we don’t have money to buy things we needed and we don’t have a drink to drink and we don’t have any food to eat.” WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO!!!” said me.

“Now me and my friends is very sick in this terrible forest” said Saunoa.

“But we can’t just sit here we got to do something” said Mary.
“But what should we do?” said Hunter.

“ I know” said me.

“What is it” said Mary.

“I have a plan” said me.






My friends and I are sick of our parents telling us what to do all the time, so we ran away. When we ran away at night time they were asleep. We knew this was going to happen and what time we will go was because we plan this at school as I was saying so we went at night time, when they were asleep and we went at 7:00 at night time. But there is a good news and a bad news and the good news that our parents can’t tell us what to do anymore and the bad news is that we ended up in a forest.






Our parents was really worried about us, how I know because me and my friends saw it on the newspaper and the newspaper said that these little young kids ran away at night time on Monday at 7:00 and there parents are worried about them so the parents was calling a helicopter to fly in the sky to look down and to find us. So my plan was if we go to the mountain then we can be safe, eat, drink, sleep and all thing and will be home because the reason why we would go to the mountain was because the helicopter is always loving the mountain and loves to go there.






Now me and my friend can rest, eat, drink and when we went back home our parents started to be nice to us and no gruelling because they don’t want us to ran away again.

The water was waving like the shape as a circle like a roller coaster riding the shape as a circle wave, from the water to the end of the ocean . As it was crashing and rushing to go to the other side of the water to the mountain, The water was coloured light blue like the blue sky.
